Lumie is a beauty routine tracking application. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data.

What we collect

When you use Lumie, we collect:

• Account information: Your name, age group, and skin type provided during onboarding. Email address if you choose to provide it.
• Routine data: The beauty routines you create, including product names, brands, frequencies, and completion logs.
• Usage data: When you open the app, mark routines as done, and interact with features.

We do not collect location data, contacts, photos, health data, or financial information beyond product prices you voluntarily enter.

Why we collect it

• To provide the core service: tracking your routines, sending reminders, and showing progress.
• To personalise your experience: greeting you by name, adjusting to your schedule.
• To improve the app: understanding which features are used helps us build better ones.

How we store it

Your data is stored securely on servers hosted by Hetzner (Germany) and Neon (EU). All data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted at rest. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you via the Export feature in the app.
• Rectification: Update your information at any time through the app.
• Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data via the Delete Account button or by emailing us.
• Portability: Export your data in CSV format from the Profile tab.

We respond to all data requests within 30 days.

Age restrictions

Lumie is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will delete their account immediately.

Cookies and tracking

The Lumie iOS app does not use cookies. Our website does not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
